December 09 Update



			So, what's new? Well, I've been working hard (still) on Personally Personalised's web visibility and am happy to announce that the website has moved up one Google page ranking, to a 2, in less that 6 months. I have placed a Google Pageranker on the home page, to keep a watch on our progress. As a sole trader, in my blackboard business, I appreciate everyone's limited funds and caution as to where they choose to advertise. For this reason, I have disengaged the expensive services of DLook, as there seemed to be little results for their outlay. Although new members have been few, we have made great progress on the web.

	I also believe in being completely honest about the movements and intentions of PP. Personally Personalised was born out of the lack of individualised gifts and wares, and in opposition to flood of commercialised personalised products on the net. I take the investments of all the members very seriously and would like to reiterate that I am a 'one man band' and take everyone's interests to heart. Our site traffic has improved greatly since the launching of PP in June this year. I believe in counting Unique visitors, as opposed to site or page visits. If you haven't already placed a link to PP on your website, please consider it...it helps both/all of us.
			Valentines Day I know Christmas is just around the corner and you are all busy preparing for it, but don't forget about Valentines day on 14th February 2010. I hope you have received some valuable traffic via PP, in regards to your Christmas wares. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If you are not receiving traffic, perhaps I can fine tune the search criteria to suit your needs. 	Personally Personalised recently introduced a newsletter function to the home page... As a member you would know that PP does not over run your Inbox with, for want of a more preferred word....Rubbish! I thought that people who have opted to subscribe to the Newsletter would also like to receive our Member's Updates ...since they are few and relevant. That being said, I would like to welcome them on behalf of all of us and invite them to offer any feedback and to pass on the word of Personally Personalised. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the Updates and or Newsletters, so if anyone has some interesting news pertaining to the handmade world of personalised products, please forward them. I am personally looking forward to receiving details of any Arts or Craft organisations that might like to list for FREE! Also, any suggestions are very much appreciated.

	Personally Personalised has moved! Personally Personalised has advertised in the Handmade Magazine for the last 2 issues and will continue to do so for the rest of the financial year. www.handmade.com has now moved to craftlovers.com It's a great site, integrating craft techniques, suppliers, projects, communities, blogs and competitions. The magazine also, is well worth reading. Again, a big thank you to honie designs, funky letters and moobee tees for allowing me to use their wonderful graphics! A great feather in theIr caps!
